FAQ

Who are these exhibitions for?

The most frequent visitors are usually families with children. We can say that children are interested in the impression and imagination and adults are interested in technology. The visit of an exhibition is than a nice bond between parents and their children. The exhibition Paleozoic Era - a Living World is usually visited by people interested in nature and its history, history of Earth and our territory in Paleozoic era. The exhibition includes educative, as well as non-fiction features. It is designed also for children, but they need an adult companion, not necessarily a specialist.

For how old children is the exhibition suitable?

Children from approximately 3 years. Also three-year old boys like to leaf through books about dinosaurs, they can identify them and they know their complicated names.

Will children be afraid?

They will, a little bit, as they don’t usually meet giant hags, knights or dragons, and an eight-meter saurian does not probably lean over them every day. But this is not only the fear of being frightened; it is also the fear which evokes the desire to know and to learn. However, children will surely overcome their fear with your help and those who do not dare to come closer can watch at a distance...

How does 3D movie work in the exhibition?

It is a special panoramic projection created by two simultaneously running projectors. The film is projected on a special polarization screen, which enables high degree of light reflection. Each visitor is loaned polarization glasses free of charge, with help of which he/she can enter the action of a film. 3D projection is not suitable for people with eye illnesses or injuries (e.g. people with one eye), but it is no problem for people with dioptric glasses.

How are the models moving?

Each model is controlled by one pc, which is controlled by a central pc. Each model has certain number of autonomous movements allowed by air conditioning systems.

How long is the exhibition?

There is no time limit. From our experience we can say that people usually stay one hour, but they can stay even longer.
